Now what exactly do you know about a goose? Words that often appear in one’s mind would be “mean-spirited”, “aggressive”, and “HONK!”. Yes, you are correct. Geese, in general, are some bastards. They’d slit your throat for a meager chunk of white bread, then fly back to their gaggle only to boast about their conquest. Absolute scumbags, the lot of them.

That being said, the above refers to street geese. We are Proper Gander.

Established in 2026, Proper Gander Productions is a mindset and a movement. A quest for fulfillment through genuinely entertaining storytelling. A brotherly-duo hellbent on writing the most enthralling screenplays possible in order to bring a sense of propriety back to Hollywood, who for far too long have offered us nothing but regurgitated sequel after spin-off after remake after reboot of the same exhausted IP we’ve seen already. They’ve offered us white bread - hollow and unenriched. Flavorless.

Did you know white bread is actually really bad for geese? Anyway-

What started as but a wee notion in 2021 has led to this point. The culmination of five years of nonstop screenwriting and film production. Six feature length scripts. One original comedy show, of which a full 2-season, 20 episode run has been born. A (hopefully) award-wining short film on the horizon. All of this born out of a true love for film and television. For storytelling. For entertaining.

And we have no plans to slow down. We only have intentions to spread our wings and fly. It’s time for the goose to let loose.

Now, unlike a street goose, we are not an aggressive gaggle. We are proper, not rowdy. We are civilized. Above all else, Proper Gander respects and values genuine entertainment. Honest stories. Gripping dramas. Terrifying horrors. Hysterical comedies. Proper Gander will not pander, much like the Hollywood of today. Proper Gander is not here to check boxes, or to push agendas.

The only box we care about checking is the one labeled “is it entertaining?”

For it is after this objective that we will pursue until our dying honks.
